Safer, Faster Gene Editing
Groundbreaking Technology Platforms
GeneNeer has developed two game-changing gene-editing platforms that redefine crop enhancement through precise gene editing and advanced trait expression: The Superline Platform and The Mirtron Platform.
Using its proprietary platforms GeneNeer engages in GE, non-GM crop enhancement using cutting-edge RNA biology, AI and molecular technologies to create a smarter, faster and cleaner way to develop enhanced crop traits. Our tools empower the food supply chain to sustainably drive food security.
Value Proposition:
New Gene Editing Methodology

Superlines: A Platform to Facilitate and Enable Crop Enhancement
Superlines facilitate more accurate, faster, cheaper and safer gene editing than ever before. Because GeneNeer’s technologies are agnostic they may be used with most crops, however, they enable and facilitate breeding in hard-to-edit, vegetatively-propagated crops, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, casavas, bananas, trees, etc. With the platform, crop seed development and regulatory approvals take less time, while the costs and risks for enhanced crop development are reduced.
Research challenges
overcome By the TR8 Regulation Platform:
- Creating hybrids due to cross incompatibility
- Obtaining quality protoplast transformation assay
- Modifying a large genome (hexaploid)

Expanding Capabilities
in Pursuit of Food Security
Using its proprietary Superlines, GeneNeer is currently focusing its in-house research on potatoes to facilitate and enable gene editing to address consumer demands for nutrition and convenience, processors’ interest in better quality and cooking performance and growers’ interest in yield.
Combined Impact: The Superline and Mirtron platforms may be used synergistically to deliver next-generation solutions for hard-to-breed crop improvement
GeneNeer’s platforms redefine agricultural innovation by combining precision, stability and scalability, ensuring the development of superior crop varieties, while maintaining regulatory and market compatibility.
